Christ CMI Public School functions under the aegis of CMI Congregation of Carmelites of Mary Immaculate (CMI), the first indigenous religious congregation in the Catholic Church of India. They run around 800 educational institutions across India and abroad. Christ CMI Public School, Gundulupet was started in 2016.
